BlockLog
Ever found a weird block in your world and had no clue who put it there? BlockLog answers that in one click.
How it works?
Operators automatically get a Block Log Viewer item when they join the world. Right-click any block with it and you'll see a chat message with the player who placed it and the date and time. It won't interact with the block, so nothing gets opened or changed by accident.
Features
- Tracks block placements across all dimensions
- Shows the player name and a timestamp
- Viewer item is given to operators on join (only if they don't have one yet)
- Only operators can use the viewer
- Data is saved with the world, so it stays after restarts
- Lightweight, no commands needed
Good to know
- It only tracks blocks placed after the addon is installed. Older blocks will show "No placement data".
- It remembers the latest placer of each block, not a full history.
- To keep the world data small, it stores up to 4000 blocks. When it's full, the oldest entries get replaced.
- When a block is broken, its entry is removed.
Requirements
- Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.40 or newer
- Beta APIs must be enabled in the world's Experiments settings, since the addon uses a beta scripting module
- Install both packs (BP and RP), they come together in the .mcaddon
