Or perhaps you might enjoy playing the role of a treasure hunter more than a fossil nerd, then you can also find these torn ancient papers inside the chests! Well, maybe it is just a little more rare than archeology, but hey! That's adventuring!

What do we do with these torn ancient papers anyways? 

Well, just like in real life. When you need help with some ancient artifacts you found, you ask a professional! 

Go to a cartographer and level them up to the final tier, then a trade would appear. For a reasonable price you can hire the cartographer to examine the items for a Restored Ancient Traveller's Book!
