# Fixed the red text telling you to update, for good this time
I finally learnt (thanks to [purplekelix](https://www.curseforge.com/members/purplekelix)) how to make the addon stop breaking every month.
There could still be minor bugs on major minecraft releases though, but probably no red text. Make sure to update the addon if a new bug comes after updating Minecraft in the future.
The **addon still requires beta apis** however.
**5.2.21 was broken because I forgot to set its version in the pack manifest, but this fix will actually work**
