Better Loot gives mobs more realistic and immersive loot instead of the same fixed, repetitive drops. Every mob now has a chance to drop items that make sense based on its origin or role in the Minecraft world.
For example, zombies were once villagers before they became infected. This means they may still be carrying valuables they owned in their previous lives, such as emeralds, diamonds, iron nuggets, food, or other rare items. While common drops like Rotten Flesh are still available, there's always a chance to discover something much more valuable, making every encounter more rewarding and exciting.
