Experience Return by Death in Minecraft Bedrock Edition

Bring Subaru Natsuki's Return by Death into Minecraft Bedrock.

This addon doesn't simply respawn you after death. It rewinds the world back to a saved checkpoint, restoring the state of the player and the surrounding world.

True Return by Death

When you die, the addon can restore:

Health & Hunger

XP

Inventory & equipped items

Selected hotbar slot

Nearby dropped items

Broken & placed blocks

Chest & barrel contents

Nearby mobs and their states

Boats and other tracked entities

World changes recorded by the checkpoint

ETC

The rewind also works across dimensions, including Overworld, Nether and End.

Checkpoints

Manual Checkpoint

Sneak for 4 seconds in a safe position to create a checkpoint.

Automatic Checkpoint

Checkpoints can also be created automatically every 3–4 minutes, depending on your settings.

Multiplayer

Return by Death affects the entire world, not just the player who died.

Players can be in different dimensions and still be affected by the same rewind.

RBD can also be shared with other players.

Subaru's Abilities

The addon currently includes:

Shamak – Creates a dark field that weakens, slows and blinds enemies.

Invisible Providence – A long-range invisible attack.

Rental Goa – Borrowing goa magic from Ia spirit

Lion Heart – Provides powerful defensive effects for a limited time.

Mana gate

Use Subaru's abilities by managing mana gate a resource connected to the addon’s ability system

To get and increase the capacity of the mana gate, you have to kill hostile mobs

RBD Only Mode

Want the Return by Death experience without the extra abilities?

Enable RBD Only Mode to keep the core rewind system while disabling Subaru's additional abilities and Witch Scent.
