A survival behavior addon that adds essential quality-of-life mechanics to make your Minecraft experience smoother, smarter, and more enjoyable.

WHAT IS THIS ADDON?

Basic Mechanics GT is a lightweight behavior addon designed to fill the gaps in vanilla Minecraft survival. No overpowered features — just the basics your world was always missing, carefully scripted and balanced for a natural gameplay feel.

Achievements are fully supported. No experimental toggles required.

FEATURES

TREE FELLING
Chop the base of any tree and the entire trunk breaks at once.

How to use: Sneak + break any log while holding an axe.

- The full trunk and canopy are removed automatically.
- Only works on actual trees — it will not affect log structures or builds.
- Durability is consumed per log broken.

VEIN MINING
Mine one ore and the entire connected vein breaks instantly.

How to use: Sneak + break any ore block while holding a pickaxe.

- Works with all vanilla ores, including deepslate variants and Ancient Debris.
- Durability is consumed per ore broken.

AUTO-REPLANTING
Harvesting fully grown crops automatically replants them.

How to use: Right-click any fully grown crop.

- The harvest drops normally and the crop resets to stage zero on its own.
- Supports wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroot, nether wart, and cocoa.

LOCKABLE CONTAINERS
Use a Paper to lock any container with a password.

How to use: Right-click a container while holding Paper to lock it.
Right-click it again to unlock.
Sneak + right-click your own locked container with Paper to
open the management menu.

- Set a numeric password, whitelist specific players, or locate all your
locked containers.
- Other players without access are shown the owner's name, and if a
password is set they are prompted to enter it.
- Locked containers cannot be broken or destroyed by explosions.

MOVABLE CONTAINERS
Use an Ender Pearl to move barrels, furnaces, hoppers, shulker boxes and
more without losing a single item.

How to use: Sneak + right-click a container while holding an Ender Pearl
to mark it. Then sneak + right-click any block face where you
want to place it.

- One Ender Pearl is consumed on placement.
- Sneak + right-click the marked container again to cancel.
- Chests are not movable.

GRAVE SYSTEM
When you die, all your items are stored safely in a grave at your death location.

- A barrel is placed holding everything from your inventory, armor, and offhand.
- Only you can open it.
- Right-click your grave to retrieve your items.
- The barrel disappears once everything is recovered.
- Graves cannot be broken or destroyed by explosions.

ANTI-TRAMPLE
Farmland can no longer be trampled by players or mobs.

- No activation needed — it works automatically at all times.
- Your crops stay safe, always.

SIEVE
Use a brush on certain blocks to find hidden items.

How to use: Hold a brush and right-click any supported block.

- Supported blocks include sand, gravel, dirt, clay, mud, soul sand,
soul soil, snow, and more.
- Each block type can drop different items.
- The brush loses durability per use.

XP STORAGE
Store and withdraw your experience points inside an enchanting table.

How to use: Lock an enchanting table first using Paper. Then sneak +
right-click the table to open the XP menu.

- Choose to deposit or withdraw in fixed level amounts or by percentage.
- Only players with access to that table can use it.

AUTOMATIC FISHING STATION
Build a structure to fish automatically while you do other things. The catch
goes straight into a barrel without any input needed.

How to build: Place a locked barrel surrounded by 8 copper grates at the
same level, with water below and around the grates.
Put string inside the barrel for it to work.

How to use: Sneak + right-click the barrel to activate the station.
Sneak + right-click again to deactivate it.

- One string is consumed per catch.
- The catch is deposited directly into the barrel.
- The station stops automatically if the barrel fills up or runs out of string.
- The structure cannot be broken or destroyed by explosions while active.

- Apply both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack
- Achievements: supported
