The Hardcore Economy Addon is designed for players who want a cha
llenge. It completely overhauls the Librarian Villager to make trading feel earned, expensive, and difficult. Say goodbye to easy "god armor" in the first hour of the game!
📉 Key Features
1. Severe Inflation Villagers now know the value of their goods.

Paper & Books: You will need significantly more resources to unlock the first few trading tiers.

Emerald Costs: Expect to pay double or triple the usual amount for basic items like Glass or Lanterns.
2. The "Junk" Flood Librarians are no longer guaranteed to sell useful books. Their trade tables are now flooded with "common" enchantments.

High Chance: Bane of Arthropods, Curse of Binding, Projectile Protection.

Low Chance: The good stuff.
3. Ultra-Rare Treasure Enchantments Looking for Mending, Efficiency V, or Unbreaking III? Good luck.

These top-tier enchantments have a weighted chance of 1 (compared to 50 for common books).

If you are lucky enough to find one, it will cost you. Prices for these books are locked between 50 and 64 Emeralds.
🛠️ How it Works
This addon uses a custom trading/economy_trades/librarian.json file to override vanilla behavior. It is compatible with most other addons that do not touch villager trading tables.
Note: This addon only affects NEW villagers. If you have a Librarian locked in your trading hall from before you installed this, their trades will not change. You must breed new villagers or find a new village to see the suffering!

Open it to import into Minecraft Bedrock.

Apply the Behavior Pack to your world settings.

(Optional) Turn on "Experiments" if required by other mods, but this addon works with standard settings.
