Auric Skeleton is a Vanilla+ add-on that expands Minecraft with two unique skeleton variants, each introducing new combat behaviors, progression, and gameplay opportunities while remaining consistent with the core survival experience.

New Skeleton Variants

Auric Skeleton

Auric Skeleton is a friendly skeleton companion rather than a hostile monster. Unlike most skeletons, it does not generate naturally in the world and must be summoned by the player.

Once summoned, it can protect your base, defend villages, accompany your adventures, or simply become a permanent companion. It supports both ranged and melee combat, can be moved using a Lead, repaired with Golden Bone, and integrated into a wide variety of survival builds.

Blighted Skeleton

Blighted Skeleton is a dangerous new hostile skeleton that naturally spawns in Crimson Forests. It features both ranged and melee combat styles, making encounters more challenging than vanilla skeletons while remaining balanced for Survival gameplay.

Defeating a Blighted Skeleton rewards players with valuable materials required to unlock the Auric Skeleton.

Progression

Your journey begins by hunting Blighted Skeletons.

Collect a Golden Bone, then combine it with an Emerald and a Gold Nugget to craft a Golden Bond.

Use the Golden Bond on a Gold Block to summon your own Auric Skeleton companion.
