(I'm not Mojang/Microsoft in any way or in any affiliation with them, this lead was just written for fun. There will also be some sarcasm over some fake aspects of the features present in this addon.)
Due to the mixed reception of 1.21, we’ve decided to move most of our development resources and team away from Minecraft’s major updates and instead focus on releasing our new game: Minecraft 2! It’s been in development for a long time, and you might even remember leaks of many of its concepts surfacing in previous years (the people leaking this info have been properly taken care of). It'll take a while for us to finish enough features for a proper release, but because we want to be transparent with you, we’re releasing the most stable features out into the public so you can find the bugs we’ve missed yourselves. And as always, we're keen to get your feedback on these new features here. Have fun!
Rare and endangered species named after the two notable Minecraft devs that have discovered them out in protected digital forests. You might say that the new mob variants introduced in the 1.21.70 drop are VERY similar to what was added here, but I'm telling you those variants are pigs and cows while these mobs are ponies and horses. There's a difference.
A benevolent version of the Wither that shoots projectiles that transform various mobs into "more friendly" versions, releasing Pure Love as a resource.
In order to spawn them, make a pink wool T first. Next, place a flower pot on top of the T and add a poppy inside that pot. They initially start with just one head and are pretty slow. Feeding them sugar or sugary foods makes them more powerful and grow more heads. However, don't feed them too much or they'll risk exploding!
A silverfish-like mob that appears whenever an error pertaining to pistons occurs. Its appearance signals some Telemetry data over to Microsoft, giving them data into what’s causing all these piston bugs. For some added fun, this mob can also attack the player and has a strong weakness to water.
A rare, valuable version of the chicken that lays diamonds instead of eggs, spawning in plains, dark forests, and jungles. They can also rarely spawn out of chicken eggs and can breed with seeds. These machines aren’t up to modern standards, however, and have a 1 in 20 chance of exploding every time they lay a diamond.
Creepers that have found a new purpose in life and reformed their explosive ways. They now travel through Minecraft’s dimensions to spread their ideas to those willing to listen. They’re also a little too player-happy.
Due to the mass amounts of complaints about how striders need more use and that something like obsidian boats would be better, we’ve decided to heed your calls and add these things in-game! Happy now, huh?
A throwable item similar to splash potions, creating the same effect used by Pink Wither skulls, now portable. Crafted by surrounding a fire charge with 4 pure love.
Easier compression for easier shipping. Because why not? Crafted with 9 of a respective type of fish.
The slab form of TNT, making it easier to spread your explosions out! Nonetheless, any mobs or players near the area of explosion should take cover due to the risk of nearby trolls.
Another explosive block coming in red and brown variations that are visually identical to their mushroom counterparts. They blend easily into mushroom patches in cave biomes, “mushroom-y” biomes, and the Nether, where stepping on them, breaking them, or even breaking their supports sets them off. Their explosions deal less damage but have a lot more knockback, and can easily send you off a cliff if not handled well. Additionally craftable by surrounding 8 mushrooms with a fire charge.
Another debug-feature-turned-actual-feature similar to redstone bugs, spawning wherever world generation bugs occur in blobs to cover up any mistakes. Breaking them reveals a random arthropod: anything from endermites to bees to cave spiders!
