Aperture Portal Gun

NOTE FOR MOBILE USERS

• As of version 1.1, a subpack was added which allows parts of this add-on to work on mobile edition without crashing the game. It doesn't have the same visual effect but most of the mechanics are there. In order to enable this "lite" edition:
  • When you go to add a resource pack (if you add the behavior pack first, the resource pack will automatically turn on, but you can still check the resource pack tab)
  • Click settings and a slider should come up. Slide it to the left to set it to lite mode. PC is the default mode.

How to use this Add-On

• Once you obtain a diamond you are given a new recipe! Look in the recipe book to find what you need to craft the portal gun! It can be used as followed:
  
  
  • Sneak + Right-Click: Switches between the following modes - Blue Portal, Orange Portal, Grab, and Remove Portals
    
    
  • Right-Click: This places / removes (when in removal mode) the portals. In Grab mode it lets you grab various blocks. Right-click again to let them go.
• There are also a few other devices added in v1.1!
  
  
  • Aerial Faith Plate: This is basically a jump pad that sends you flying! Right-click to configure its jump strength and sneak + right-click to rotate it.
    
    
  • Excursion Funnel: This is a tractor beam that pushes or pulls entities. Right-click to swap between modes and sneak + right-click to turn it off. Excursion funnels can travel through portals!
    
    
  • Thermal Discouragement Beam: This is a damaging laser that can be turned on and off by right-clicking it. The laser can travel through portals and its direction can be modified by placing glass (it points in the direction you are looking when placing the glass).
    
    
  • Gels: These are two new liquids, Repulsion Gel and Propulsion Gel. The blue one is bouncy like slime blocks and the orange one makes you travel faster!

• Slight disclaimer: The portal works better in closed / small areas. It will likely look off when used in larger areas (but will still work). Also it doesn't work with Vibrant Visuals (the portals are still place-able, they just wont have the same visual effect).
