ALIEN INVASION: EXTINCTION (v5.2.1)
An alien empire has found your world and is coming for it. Invasions arrive in stages: a scout beacon lands first, then dropships bring the assault, and finally a commander arrives with its escort. Crashed ships, enemy structures and shield pylons appear across the Overworld. Every commander you defeat is replaced by a stronger one, so the war escalates over time.
Enemies
Soldiers, hunters, drones and giants, plus shield drones and turrets.
Commanders (nemeses) that can escape, return stronger for revenge, and are tracked on a Nemesis Board.
Fleet Overlord, Reactor Core and other bosses.
UFOs and war machines.
Weapons and gear
Laser rifles, railguns, energy blades and gravity cannons.
Relic weapons.
The Ion Cannon, built from 4 Reactor Shards, 2 Power Cells and a Commander Core.
The Overlord Scepter and Nemesis Trophies.
Armor sets, plus pups that fight alongside you.
Mothership raid
Knock down its shield generators and the Mothership lands, so you can attack its hull.
Then board it and fight through the hangar, reactor and bridge. You finish by escaping a self-destruct countdown.
It is built for multiplayer co-op. If everyone leaves, the raid is abandoned and the interior is cleaned up.
Systems
Nine invasion themes and battlefield events such as orbital strikes and jammers.
Scoring with grades from S down to C, and War Records.
A Tablet item with a Nemesis Board, War Records, a "What do I do now?" help page and a 13-topic Field Guide.
Supply drops, radar, bounties and an arena.
Weather and raid types.
A Homeworld side-quest dimension where invasions never come, so there is no forced ending.
Settings
Five difficulty modes: Easy, Normal, Hard, Calm and Nightmare.
A "How many enemies" setting, so you control how crowded the fights get. The default is already much lower than earlier versions.
Technical
Minecraft Bedrock add-on with a behavior pack and a resource pack, using the Script API (@minecraft/server 2.8.0).
Needs Minecraft engine version 1.26.30 or newer.
All textures, models, sounds and particles are generated procedurally.
