Description

Mortar BepInEx Bridge lets the Mortar mod manager see which BepInEx plugins a running Lethal Company has loaded, so it can show their state without you reading LogOutput.log. It adds no gameplay and changes no game content.

Installation instructions

  • If you use Mortar, you do not need to download this: Mortar installs and updates it for you.
  • By hand: install BepInEx 5 for Lethal Company, then unzip the download into the game folder. That puts the plugin in BepInEx/plugins/MortarBepInExBridge/ and the startup-timing patcher in BepInEx/patchers/.

Main features

  • Reports the game version, the current scene and every loaded plugin to Mortar.
  • Times each plugin's load on a launch Mortar measures, so Mortar can show which plugins slow startup.
  • Skips the intro only when Mortar asks: it stops the Unity splash screen and starts the game without its boot animation or cold open, while the Online or LAN choice stays yours. Without a request it changes nothing.
  • Optional stream overlay for Mortar's OBS page, off unless you turn it on in Mortar.
  • Listens on 127.0.0.1 only (never the network, never the internet), and every request needs a random token stored in a file only your user can read. It makes no outgoing connections. Under Proton the game is a Windows build, which has no file modes to restrict, so the token file is as private as the Steam library folder holding the prefix.

Requirements

  • BepInEx 5.4.21 or later.
