Locust mk.3 Multipurpose Lander (Stock Tanks)
A compact multipurpose lander
The Locust mk.3 stock tank is a more believable version of the mk.3lander I uploaded here. It is still capable of ferrying 3 crew to the surface of most moons, but is no longer Duna capable.
The lander is a good combination of stock parts and mod parts, all of which are listed further down. The lander is near perfectly balanced and has so far been successfully landed and launched off again from Mun and Minmus. It is also capable of safe re-entry into Kerbin should the need arise.
If you want to use SAS when landing, it is necessary to control the lander from the MechJeb unit to have retrograde hold point directly down. Control groups for this lander are as follows:
1) Main Engine ON/OFF
2) Landing Engines ON/OFF
3) Extend/Retract Solar Panels
4) Parachutes
5) Extend/Retract Ladder
G) Extend/Retract Lander Legs
