Early Exploratory Vessels

Hercules was built for exploration on Duna, and it was the first vehicle to touchdown on the planet's surface. Though similar in form to the Artemis, Hercules sacrifices flight in exchange for refueling capability and rear thrusters to aid in scaling steep inclines over mountainous terrain. Only equipped with two parachutes, landings can be a little rough at high elevations, but the rover frame is solid and can survive some serious collisions.
