Description
In this mod, you will find 36+ unique parts that will allow you to extract Water, CO2 and nutrients from Ore, grow plants, produce food, create waste and turn it into biogas, run generators with the biogas and create life-saving Oxygen for your crew. You can even build paths/ walkways and add airlocks to the chamber where ever you choose.
The mod is ready to use but is still in Beta as I may add more parts in the future etc, depending on feedback.
Compatible with KSP 1.12.x and is dependent on TAC LS for KSP 1.12.x
How to install:
Use KSP 1.12.+ (it may work on older versions that support TAC LS, test at your own risk, back up your files!)
Download TAC LS from here: https://www.curseforge.com/kerbal/ksp-mods/tac-life-support
Then Download Growing For Space (GFS)
Extract TAC LS and take the GameData from the TAC LS folder and place it into the Kerbal Space Program install directory, for example, mine is D:steamlibrary/steamapps/common/KerbalSpaceProgram
There will already be a GameData folder in the KerbalSpaceProgram directory, place the new folder next to this folder NOT in it. If prompted to do so click "replace files in folder"
Now, extract Growing For Space (GFS) and take the GameData folder from Growing For Space (GFS) and place it in the same location (next to the GameData in the kerbal space program directory NOT in it)
Load the game and enjoy.
Known issues:
Prices have not been corrected so they may be a little on the cheap side for now.
All GFS parts are under the Utility category.
