Life Controller v1.2 is now available!

This update introduces Life Stage Switching, Body Weight & Muscle Controls, and improvements to the Zoi Controls interface, while preserving the extensive gameplay-management features introduced in v1.1.

inZOI Life Controller — v1.2

Life Controller is an in-game control and management mod for inZOI that gives you quick access to a growing collection of tools for managing your Zois, households, relationships, world settings, and gameplay.

Designed as a centralized control menu rather than a collection of separate cheats, Life Controller allows you to customize and manage different aspects of your game through one interface.

The mod continues to expand as inZOI's official modding capabilities evolve.

How to Open Life Controller

Press F10 while in-game to open Life Controller.

If F10 doesn't work, try Fn + F10.

New in v1.2 — Life Stages & Body Controls

Life Stage Switching

Take direct control of your Zois' life stages without waiting for natural aging.

Life Controller now supports switching between eight life stages:

• Toddler

• Child

• Adolescent

• Teenager

• Young Adult

• Adult

• Middle-Aged

• Senior

You can age Zois forward or backward, including skipping multiple stages entirely. For example, a Child can become a Young Adult, or an Adult can become a Teenager.

Three targeting options are available:

• Controlled Zoi: Change the life stage of the Zoi you're currently controlling.

• Household Member: Select and change another member of your household without switching control to them.

• Other Zoi: Change the life stage of supported Zois outside your household.

Life Stage Switching includes confirmation prompts, target identification, and verification of changes.

Life-stage changes affect the Zoi's actual age stage, including their physical appearance and applicable animations, rather than simply changing their appearance.

Important limitations:

• Newborn life-stage switching is not currently supported.

• Toddler transitions are supported for Controlled Zois and Household Members, but not as a destination in Other Zoi mode.

• Changing life stages may affect school enrollment, careers, available interactions, and other age-dependent systems.

• Reversing a life-stage change may not restore all previous age-dependent gameplay data.

It is recommended to back up your save before making significant life-stage changes.

Body Weight & Muscle Controls

Customize your Zois' physical appearance directly through Life Controller.

New Body Controls include:

• Weight Slider: Adjust body weight from thinner to heavier.

• Muscle Slider: Adjust muscularity independently of body weight.

• Individual Apply Buttons: Apply weight and muscle adjustments separately.

• Household Support: Modify either your controlled Zoi or another household member.

• Current Values: View and refresh the selected Zoi's existing body values.

Adjustments use draggable sliders for easier customization, and changes are only applied when you confirm them.

Interface Improvements

• Moved Zoi & Appearance into the Zoi Controls section for more intuitive organization.

• Simplified the Life Stage Switching interface.

• Improved target selection and confirmation feedback.

• Preserved existing navigation, settings, and gameplay controls.

Current Features

Zoi Controls

Manage individual Zois through a collection of character-management tools.

Includes Traits & Characteristics, emotions, buffs, health/illness, immortality, Fill Needs, Go Home, teleportation, Bring Zoi Here, and Zoi Groups.

Groups can be created and managed around your currently controlled Zoi.

Zoi & Appearance controls now include the new Body Weight and Muscle sliders.

Needs & Motives

Fill needs, manage individual motives, and control need behavior for the currently controlled Zoi or globally.

Seasons & Weather

Control seasons, weather, natural disasters, and supported Karma-related options.

Aging & Life Stages

Stop or resume aging for the currently controlled Zoi.

Use Life Stage Switching to directly change supported Zois between life stages, including aging up, aging down, and skipping stages.

Pregnancy & Family

Pregnancy and family-related controls centered around the currently controlled Zoi.

Relationships

Manage relationship values and relationship-related actions, including Friendship, Romance, Business, Family relationships, relationship/profile tools, engagement, marriage, and divorce.

Population & Households

View residential population information, browse households and members, manage households, work with nearby/world Zois, switch controlled Zois, and access supported appearance-editing tools.

Careers & Education

Career-management tools for the currently controlled Zoi.

Autonomy

Cancel current actions, clear queued actions, enable or disable autonomy for the current Zoi, and use supported household-wide autonomy controls.

Urges & Ambitions

Tools for supported urge and ambition systems.

Cheats & Utility Tools

Additional gameplay controls collected into one convenient interface.

Settings & Diagnostics

Customize Life Controller preferences and run read-only diagnostic checks to help troubleshoot the mod and current game session.

Previous Update — v1.1

Life Controller v1.1 introduced major expansions to the mod's underlying functionality, including:

• Expanded Zoi and Household Management.

• Population information and household browsing.

• Additional autonomy controls.

• New gameplay-management tools.

• Persistent preferences and settings.

• Built-in diagnostic features.

• UI organization and performance improvements.

These features remain available in v1.2.

Current ModKit Limitations

Life Controller uses inZOI's supported UI Mod and CLI systems. Some gameplay controls are not yet exposed through the available APIs.

For example, population caps, random-generation asset rules, CC allow/block controls, and NPC-role editing are not currently available through Life Controller.

Direct pregnancy-stage selection (Early, Mid, or Late) is also not included in this release.

Life Controller may expand further as inZOI's official modding support develops.

Updating from v1.1

Life Controller v1.2 is an update to the existing mod, not a separate mod.

Remove or replace your previous installation when updating to avoid duplicate copies. Existing Life Controller preferences are designed to remain compatible with v1.2.

As always, backing up your game saves before installing updates is recommended.

Troubleshooting

If pressing F10 does not open Life Controller:

1. Make sure the mod is installed and enabled in inZOI's Mods menu.

2. Try Fn + F10 if your keyboard uses function-key shortcuts.

3. Use inZOI's Validate option for the mod.

4. Restart the game and try again.

If you're reporting an issue, please mention which feature you were using and what happened.

Life Controller includes a Diagnostics page under Settings that can help identify whether the required inZOI runtime systems are available. The diagnostics page checks SDK, CLI, UI bridge, storage, and current-session information without changing your game.
