Life Controller

Life Controller v1.1 is now available! This is a major update with expanded Zoi, household, population, autonomy, settings, diagnostic, and gameplay-management tools.

inZOI Life Controller — v1.1

Life Controller is an in-game control and management mod for inZOI that gives you quick access to a growing collection of tools for managing your Zois, households, relationships, world settings, and gameplay.

Life Controller is designed as a centralized control menu rather than a collection of separate cheats. More features will continue to be added as inZOI’s official modding capabilities expand.

How to Open Life Controller

Press F10 while in-game to open Life Controller.

Current Features

• Zoi Controls — manage Traits & Characteristics, emotions, buffs, health/illness, immortality, Fill Needs, Go Home, teleportation, Bring Zoi Here, and Zoi Groups. Groups can be created and managed around your currently controlled Zoi. Needs & Motives — fill needs, manage individual motives, and control need behavior for the currently controlled Zoi or globally. Seasons & Weather — control seasons, weather, natural disasters, and Karma-related options. Aging — stop or resume aging for the currently controlled Zoi. Pregnancy & Family — pregnancy and family-related controls centered around the currently controlled Zoi. Relationships — manage relationship values and relationship-related actions, including Friendship, Romance, Business, Family relationships, relationship/profile tools, engagement, marriage, and divorce. Population & Households — view residential population information, browse households and members, manage households, work with nearby/world Zois, switch controlled Zois, and access supported appearance-editing tools. Careers & Education — career tools for the currently controlled Zoi. Autonomy — cancel the current action, clear queued actions, enable or disable autonomy for the current Zoi, and use supported household-wide autonomy controls. Urges & Ambitions — tools for supported urge and ambition systems. Cheats & Utility Tools — additional gameplay controls collected into one interface. Settings & Diagnostics — customize Life Controller preferences and run read-only diagnostic checks to help troubleshoot the mod and the current game session.

New in v1.1

Life Controller v1.1 significantly expands the mod while also improving its underlying performance and stability.

The update includes additional gameplay-management tools, expanded Zoi and household controls, population features, settings, built-in diagnostics, and performance improvements designed to keep the larger Life Controller interface responsive. The v1.1 code specifically includes coalesced UI layout work, reduced UI caching of large datasets, and verbose logging disabled by default to reduce unnecessary overhead.

Current ModKit Limitations

Life Controller only exposes features that can currently be implemented reliably through inZOI’s supported UI Mod and CLI systems. Some planned controls are therefore not available yet.

For example, the current Population tools can work with residential households and Zois available through the game’s current systems, but features such as population caps, random-generation asset rules, CC allow/block controls, and NPC-role editing are not currently exposed through Life Controller yet.

Life Controller will continue to expand as inZOI’s official modding support grows.

Troubleshooting

If pressing F10 does not open Life Controller, make sure the mod is enabled in inZOI’s Mods menu. You can also use inZOI’s Validate option for the mod and restart the game. Try fn + f10 if f10 doesn’t work for you.

If you’re reporting an issue, please mention what feature you were using and what happened. Life Controller v1.1 also includes a Diagnostics page under Settings that can help identify whether the required inZOI runtime systems are available. The diagnostics page checks the SDK, CLI, UI bridge, storage, and current-session information without changing your game.
