Stops furniture and objects from weathering over time. Appliances like the fridge, sinks, range, and microwave last about 10x longer before breaking. Dirt and cleaning still work exactly like normal.
- Furniture keeps its full value, no more losing 10-30% to wear
- Applies to new items placed after you install the mod
- Existing furniture goes through one normal weathering cycle, then stops aging - Appliances last roughly 10x longer
- Dirt and day-to-day mess are unaffected
This mod only stops weathering going forward, so furniture you already placed needs to go through one full weathering cycle before it resets to full value. After that, it stays new. The "Refurbish Furniture" button may still show up on an item even after it's already reset, that's just a cosmetic leftover and doesn't mean anything's wrong. I'm hoping to add a manual reset option in a future update so existing furniture doesn't have to wait that cycle out. I'll update this mod if that happens.
