World Gen V1 Skyblock

A 5000x5000 cleared area of a regular Hytale world that gives us access to new drops like cobalt, thorium, iron and copper.

By clearing a 5000x5000 rendered world, we preserve the most important mobs that can't normally spawn in the void.

Firesteel Golem, Goblin Thief and many more spawns now exist in specific locations of the void world and have been preserved thanks to the /clearblocks command, but should they die without the player placing a platform directly underneath them to respawn on, they may be lost forever.

This currently works for the 2026.01.24 patch and might need changes with future updates.

To start this world, unzip the file and place the folder "Skyblock 5000x5000" inside the folder with your Hytale world saves. The game will create all other necessary gamefiles inside the Skyblock folder.

Before starting:

To avoid softlocking yourself, you will need exactly 14 logs and 20 plantfiber from the tree. Lava is already placed on the island as it can't be held in vanilla. By punching out 6 stone from your cobblestone generator, you'll create a Workbench, a Farmer's Workbench and a Crude Hoe.

You will not start out with a pickaxe, but they can be crafted later.

1. MAKE SURE TO PUNCH THE LEAVES OF THE TREE BEFORE CUTTING IT DOWN.

2. Use the wheatseed to farm essence of life to buy new seeds and steadily gain access to saplings for renewable wood.

After that, you should be set.

KEEP IN MIND, trees can replace your limited dirt blocks with wood if left unchecked and in the case of beech saplings, happens if they grow to their 5th and final growth stage. To protect the dirt, place a block like cobblestone directly beneath the dirt that the beech tree will grow on. This will stop the tree from growing after stage 4, because it can't grow into cobblestone. Do this so you never risk losing dirt while farming wood. (I don't know if this works for trees other than beech)

To get iron, locate the spawn of a Firesteel Golem or Goblin Thief (Thieves also drops copper), as they will be our only source of iron. While Goblin Thieves can only be killed once, Firesteel Golems can be preserved by placing a platform directly underneath their spawn. (They usually spawn on y36 so try y35 if you are unsure). Since they will be close enough to their spawn in the void to not deload, you can place the platform above them, outside their reach and then despawn and respawn to get them onto the platform. If everything works correctly, if you then kill them and harvest the iron, you should have a new Firesteel Golem spawn within around 1.5 days. Thieves can be saved, but will turn into a regular golem after dying once.

I created the world with Entity Enabled, meaning all mobs that spawned will now rest on y0, so to lower the mobcap to get spawning on your island, you'll have to manually clear out mobs first. (Doesn't work or affect coordinate dependant spawns like Firesteel golems or Goblins). This is to prevent mobs from constantly spawning on your island when you start. (Surface mobs spawn on any dirt and grass). Skeletons especially can make it difficult to progress.

A mob MIGHT spawn when you launch the world, in my case a skeleton did, but it won't spawn everytime you start a new world.

Kweebecs also exist close to the world center. Can you capture the merchant?

Extra info:

I cleared the world of 5000x5000 blocks because mobspawning around the edges of the world could reach the mobcap. I think the spawn radius for regular surface spawn mobs is around 810 blocks (not sure though), meaning that if you play around the outer edge of the world, eventually the mob cap will be reached because animals would keep spawning on the world outside our skyblock area instead of our island.

Spawns shouldn't be affected around the 3.000x3.000 (-1.500->1.500) area and if anything would prevent mobs from spawning, it's most likely the mobcap. You can clear out even more of the world if needed, or go creative mode, use /npc clean --confirm to remove any mobs in unwanted areas.

Careful so you don't have any coordinate specific spawns in range (40 blocks is their spawn/despawn radius), as it counts as killing them and because they only spawn in specific spots, they will disappear forever.

Surface spawn mobs should load and deload within 175 blocks so they're easier to deal with.

Some areas of the void that are deloaded might reload with remnants of waterfalls and lavafalls. I could not remove them.

You will spawn on 201x 121y 198z, I would spawn you on 0 121 0, but apparently the world decided to place a mountain biome with constant wind ambiance in the actual middle.

Time has been reset to 01-01-01 00:00:00, so it will be midnight. PvP disabled, All Drops On Death. If you want to change any settings, simply edit the config file within the "universe->worlds ->default->config.json" file before starting the world.

The world seed is "1769362890766". You can use that to locate biomes or start a regular world with to see how everything looks without being cleared.

It's the first time I've uploaded anything like this. If you encounter any issues, feel free to report them! Have fun!
