Explore a vast wetland with varying challenges, from muddy bogs, precarious climbs, to dense dino infested bamboo forests.

What you can expect

This mod exists purely as a way for me to learn and experiment with Worldgen V2, and is focused solely on new biomes and some structures. While I would love to add custom enemies, that's out of the scope of the project for now ( I can’t animate ). Maybe one day~
I fell in love with my previous mod [stone forest] so much that I wanted to build upon it and expand it, so I’ve done just that! This mod contains an updated Stone Forest biome that should be much more performant, as well as a new biome called the Blooming Hills. They both share a similar aesthetic theme and compliment each other nicely.

Inside this dimension you will find two biomes. The dimension is fully survival friendly, complete with ores, weather, and roaming enemies. You’ll be able to dive in for 30 minute segments using the standard portal key system.

Stone Forest:

Features of the landscape:

Swampy lower regions full of roaming dinos, try not to get chased into the mud!
Dense patches of tall stone spires with natural ore generation. Scaling them may be some work but you'll be rewarded with rarer minerals the higher up you go!

Blooming Hills:

Features of the landscape:

Rolling hills with tiny rivers, dotted with large stepped mountains covered in cherry blossoms.
Dense patches a new type of teal bamboo! Many blocks in this biome were recolored to deliver a specific aesthetic.

How to get there?

Craft a Portal key at the Arcanists workbench.

Recipe: 5 cobalt ingots and 15 Essence of Life

It also only requires tier 1 memories, to make things easier

Known Issues:

The first time you use the GateKey, the portal may kick you back out to the main overworld. I promise the mod IS working, just hit that gate with another key and you should be golden.
-If anyone knows why gatekeys sometimes do this please let me know, I’d love to fix this.
