How to explore:

Download the mod from CurseForge and place in your hytale mod folder (check for latest version under "Versions")
Enable the mod "Obsidian's_Edge" on a new or existing Hytale world
Type "/op self" to enable OP privileges, and type "/Instances" to bring up the instances menu
Click on the Obsidian's Edge instance and load the instance (note: you may spawn underground)

Features:

Dragon-scale mountains
Deep crevices containing caves and adamantite ore
Lava pits
Dangerous enemies

The biome is currently lacking custom building prefabs for exploration, so it is mostly just a visual zone at this time.
