Infernal Descent is a multiplayer PvE Hytale Experience where up to 4 players cooperate to slay as many demons as possible, collect their soul to buy new gears and go as far as possible until you die! But, don't worry! Manon the Angel will send you back to the surface and revive you, you'll keep everything you've purchased so far, but you will have to start all over.

3 Layers with increasing difficulty await, complete a wave and get access to the Shop Totems, your main goal is to beat the (temporary) ruler of Hell, Zolahva, and if you do, Manon will reward you with plenty of golds! (And an option to restart the game from zero ;) )

4 Unique Classes to choose from!

Demon Hunter

Probably a job best suited for him, the Demon Hunter is the fast-paced class, jumping in and out of deadly situations. The red marks on his arms and weapons appear when demons are nearby...

• Category: DPS
• Weapons: Daggers and Bow
• Special Ability: Demonicide Poison, keep hitting them with your daggers to inflict a deadly poison!

Paladin of Light

Loyal to the Light Deity, he provides hope with his faith and justice with his mace.

• Category: Tank
• Weapon: Mace
• Special Ability: Hitting the demons with your mace will heal a little bit your nearby allies.

Shadow Knight

Forever cursed since their childhood, they somehow beat all odds by still existing, their power could be useful against the demons...

• Category: DPS
• Weapons: Sword and Shield
• Special Ability: Your shield bash deal damage and paralyze the demons you hit for a short period of time, but cost 2 times more in stamina.

Ethereal Mage

After many years studying the cosmos, she gained the ability to harness the primordial powers of the Universe.

• Category: Support
• Weapons: Staff and Grimoire
• Special Abilities: The Ethereal Mage is the most unique class, her staff can launch Ethereal Orbs to deal damage with a small mana cost, she can block attacks with it and the signature ability of the staff is Gravity Pulse, it deals damage to demons all around her, slows them down and pushes them away. Her Grimoire is used for casting spells on you or your teammates. Left Click to heal one of you teammate or Right Click to heal yourself, this costs 50% of your mana. Later, you'll unlock more spells like Swiftness for you or Strength for your allies.

HOW TO INSTALL:

For Solo or Invite Code play: Simply open the zip file and drag the "Infernal Descent" folder into your Hytale save folder. Access your Hytale save folder through the Hytale Launcher, click the gear icon and click on "Open Directory", open the UserData folder and you'll find the Saves folder.

For Server hosting multiplayer: You will have to use SFTP for this. Simply replace the server files with the Infernal Descent save files.

Note: This was intended to be played with 4 players, but you can solo this experience if you want, I recommend using either the Demon Hunter or Shadow Knight class then.

NEXT UPDATE (0.3.0)

• New Demonic Enemies: Some very aggressive ones, some others that are just there to annoy you, and a lot more so I can replace all those skeletons in layer 2 and 3.
• Zolahva: Giving him the model texture he deserves.
• OST: For now, only the boss fight against Zolahva has custom music, but in the next update, this experience will have a 100% original soundtrack made by me!
• The Paladin's new ability: Light Burst, launch a big projectile with your mace that deals damage and also heals your teammates near the point of impact.
• New Items and Additional Weapons: To make each run more unique!

FOR THE FULL 1.0.0 RELEASE:

• General Upgrade System: health, stamina, strength, but for everyone from a special General Totem Shop.
• Revamped Bosses: More fun, more epic, more unique... More challenging?
• Ultimate Abilities: Unlock the full potential of your class! A new special bar along the signature energy bar will be added, once filled up by attacking or taking damage, you will be able to cast your Ultimate Move!
• Layer 4 : The Frozen Core, with its demons, boss and everything!
• New Gears to buy and new Gear Models: To tackle the new layer, you will need even better equipment! And all the upgraded equipment will have a different look now.
• Even more new Demonic Enemies: Both in the new layers and the previous ones.
• Lore revamped: you'll get the true story in the next update!
• The true Final Boss... If you manage to find a way to face them!
