Welcome to Driftroot — a vertical survival region where the only way to find safety… is to climb for it. This first release introduces the core experience: survive the chaos below, push through the wilds, and reach the sky.

New Biomes

Gravel Shores (Spawn Zone)

• High enemy presence right from spawn
• Limited visibility and constant pressure
• Resource-rich shoreline to support early survival
• Small natural pockets for temporary safety

Expect to fight for your first foothold. 

Birch Forest

• Dense, moss-covered terrain
• Tall birch trees reduce visibility
• Cave systems hidden throughout the biome
• Exploration-focused with risk-reward paths

What you can’t see becomes the danger.

Ascent

• Mountain biome focused on vertical progression
• Enemy density decreases as elevation increases
• Natural paths and ridgelines guide the climb
• Environmental shift signals approaching safety

The higher you go, the closer you are to escape.

Etherglade (Safe Zone)

• Floating islands formed by embedded magical energy
• Completely free of hostile enemies
• Watch your step
• Ideal for building, crafting, and setting spawn
