What you can expect
This is my first foray into modding, and this project is a way for me to learn and experiment with Worldgen V2. The mod is focused solely on new biomes and some structures. While I would love to add custom enemies, that's out of the scope of the project for now ( I can’t animate ). Maybe one day~
Biomes
For now the mod consists of only one biome, the Aether Haunts, though I already have more in the works, all expanding upon the theme established in this first biome :>. So check back for updates coming soon!~ It’s just me working on this though, so updates won’t be super fast.
Aether Haunts:
Yea yea, its the same name as the mod itself, I know, but ya gotta start somewhere.
Anyways, this biome features a two tiered landscape:
A relatively peaceful and bright upper half, featuring the ruins of a fallen civilization, be sure to look around for towers with loot!
A hostile, twisted lower half, scarred with dangerous Aether rifts. Scattered throughout these lands are dark temples built to worship the wicked powers of the Aether. Be wary though! The darker lands here are full of void creatures, and animated corpses.
This biome was built with traversability in mind! Even if the upper half is often very tall and sheer, I made sure it generates with relatively frequent paths down to the ground! Do mind your step around the Aether rifts though!

How to get there?
Craft a Portal key at the Arcanists workbench.
Recipe: 5 cobalt ingots and 15 Essence of Void
It also requires tier 4 memories.
If you just wanna look around in creative, be sure to use the command ‘/memories unlock all’ to get access to it real fast.
