Dark Gothic Cathedral

After a long journey, right after the last turn behind a hill, the towers of the cathedral finally appear against the sky. Tall and black, the building calls for the end of the adventure. Or its beginning. The story is yours to tell after all... This monument is indeed ready to be placed wherever you want, would it be as the jewel of your town, or as a looming silouhette in the woods. Inspired by real cathedrals, designed using guidelines written by gothic architecture experts, and completed with special attention to coherence, this build is thought as a love letter to the genius of medieval architects. Some liberties have been taken though as the blocky nature of the game doesn't allow for all the finesse of the decoration of gothic style at smaller scales. I hope however that you'll still appreciate the beauty of the church and its inspirations.

The cathedral features rich facades and a fully furnished and decorated interior, with a golden tabernacle, confessionals, side altars, one big organ, a carillon and walkable attics.

The prefab in itself consists in one big construction of 147 blocs in length, 47 blocks in width and 105 blocks in height. Empty blocks are included and may cause an ugly area around the cathedral which would need some terraforming. Water didn't save and a cube need to be added in the baptismal font near the entrance.
