Cherry Farm House

A farm house that I built and wanted to share meow!

About this build meow! I tried to capture a classic "Tudor-inspired" medieval aesthetic that fits perfectly with the vibrant, blocky art style of Hytale. The scale feels substantial without losing that cozy, rural farmstead charm meow!

Architectural Style & Structure

Timber Framing: You’ve nailed the "half-timbered" look using vertical dark wood beams against cream-colored plaster/walls. The slight overhang of the second floor (jettying) adds great depth and historical accuracy to the build.

The Foundation: The use of heavy stone for the ground floor provides a solid "anchor" for the house, making it look structurally sound and protected from the elements (or wandering monsters).

Roof Geometry: The dark, shingled gambrel-style roof is striking. The way it slopes down into a secondary wing on the right creates a nice asymmetric silhouette that feels more natural and "lived-in" than a perfectly symmetrical box.

Landscaping & Environment

The Terraced Entrance: The stone stairs leading down to the water are a high point. It creates a beautiful transition between the home and the river, making the house feel like it was built specifically for that location.

Vibrant Flora: The surrounding golden-leaved trees and the neatly organized, colorful crop fields make the scene feel lush. The inclusion of scarecrows adds a great touch of "farm life" storytelling.

Lighting: The warm glow from the lanterns on the posts and the flower boxes under the windows makes the build feel welcoming, especially against the bright blue sky.

Key Details

Flower Boxes & Balconies: These small pops of color break up the neutral tones of the walls and add a layer of "micro-detail" that Hytale builders love.

Chimney Stack: The massive stone chimney on the side suggests a large hearth inside—essential for a cozy farmhouse vibe.

Exterior Props: The barrels, carts, and fencing near the bridge show that this isn't just a house; it’s a working production site.

Let me know what you think in the comments meow, please be kind!
