Thanks for all the support! Thanks to everyone’s feedback and my creativity, we made it into the Top 10 in the Hytale New Worlds Contest (#1 mid contest drops)! I love you all, and I’ll do my best to keep improving and continue this project!

About the mod:

X-17: The Nightmare is a psychological horror mod designed to bring a chilling new presence to your Hytale world. The focus was to create entities that feel like a natural part of the game's world while delivering a truly terrifying and unpredictable experience.

The main feature of this mod is X-17 itself. Unlike standard mobs, X-17 uses a fully native AI system to stalk, observe, deceive, and take revenge in his own way.

But now, the nightmare has gone deeper.

With v0.3.4, X-18 has been added as a new mysterious and corrupted entity. While X-17 haunts the night, X-18 focuses on caves, mines, and players who stay underground for too long. He stalks from the darkness, uses his own animations and sounds, and can trigger terrifying cave encounters, including charge attacks, grabs, blackout moments, and sudden disappearances.

Nights and even caves won't feel the same.

Hiding? Maybe it works, maybe not, but they will find you, that's for sure.

This mod contains many smart and unique features made to surprise and scare all adventurers.

As this is part of my journey into Hytale modding, I focused on making those entities more than just a monster, it's a psychological experience that makes you rethink entering the dark and avoiding darkness and deep places. I hope they scare you as much during your adventures as they did me during testing!
