G.N.O.M.E. HOT FIX — The Complimentary Armor Incident

A lazy G.N.O.M.E. technician was caught handing out factory-fresh armor instead of making the Void Anvil preserve the damage on the item it was given.

Management agreed this was easier than repairing the machine—but unfortunately, it was more expensive than replacing the machine.

The complimentary armor desk is now closed. The former employee has been reassigned to Void Essence Quality Assurance and is no longer expected to require a pension.

What was fixed

• The Void Anvil no longer restores lost durability.
• Damaged equipment keeps its exact current and maximum durability.
• Enchantments, custom names, and unwanted metadata are still permanently removed.
• An automated inspection now verifies both durability values because trust has been discontinued until further notice.
