Trail of Orbis v1.0.10.1 - Patch Notes

Hotfix. The skill sanctum was leaking worlds every time you visited it, making portals progressively slower until the server died. That's fixed, plus a full status effect icon pass.


Critical Fix

  • Skill Sanctum World Leak. Every sanctum visit leaked a world that never got cleaned up. After about 7 visits portals would take 15-30s to open, then eventually crash. Orphan worlds are now cleaned up on startup too, so if you already had the problem it self-heals

Status Effect Icons

  • Shock and Freeze Show Icons Now. Lightning essence for shock, ice essence for freeze, both on your HUD when the ailment is active
  • Frost Aura and Frozen Slow Show Icons. Mobs with the Frost Aura or Frozen modifier now put a debuff icon on you while you're slowed
  • Spawn Protection Has an Icon. Golden motes with a 60s countdown while you're invincible at realm spawn
  • Conditional Skill Buffs Show Icons. Every conditional node (Chain Momentum, Fortified, Killing Spree, Ghost, etc.) gets its own unique icon when active. You can finally see what's proccing
  • Poison Countdown Ring Fixed. When individual poison stacks expired the countdown ring would desync and show the wrong remaining time
  • Frost Icons Don't Blink Anymore. The icon was disappearing for one frame between reapplications

Stability

  • HUDs Disappear Less After Teleporting.
  • Portal "Not In Sync" Error Gone. Every realm entry was throwing a simulation desync warning, no longer
