Tiered: Swords

Tiered: Swords is a progression mod that allows you to invest in your Sword to unlock new Sword Skills, Elements, and Attributes. Upgrade your Copper Sword into a 5★ Flashing Thunder Katana imbued with the the Thunder Element! Take your regular old Adamantite Sword and turn it into the 5★ Volcanic Tyrfing! 

This mod is a Progression Overhaul. It is meant to remove Linear Progression in favor of Non-Linear Progression. Most 2★ weapons out preform the basic Mithril Sword. Damage is no longer what makes a weapon good, as the 5★ Weapons will be similar in Damage. What makes each path unique are the Elements or Attributes a weapon can gain, new sword types, Sword Skills, etc. 

The following Swords can be upgraded from their base game versions to 5★ Variants:

-Copper Sword
-Iron Sword
-Thorium Sword
-Cobalt Sword
-Adamantite Sword
-Onyxium Sword

The mod begins at the Mystic Bench. Here you will see several tabs; four with Stars from 2 to 5 and one extra tab for resources. Any resources needed for crafting that can not be found in the wild, will be made at the Mystic Bench or the Alchemist’s Bench.

In version 1.0.0 most materials will either be farmed or crafted. Version 2.0.0 will begin to introduce hostile NPCs that will replace many of the crafting recipes and need for farming. One thing to note: 4★ and 5★ swords are VERY POWERFUL. Version 2.0.0's new mobs will not just introduce new sources for materials but a great challenge as well! The mod will eventually Introduce boss monsters to hunt in pursuit of your 5★ Swords!

Sword Skills: These can be activated during combat via the Charged Thrust, Signature Move, or a combination of both. The 4★ Raw Electrum Falchion and 5★ Flashing Thunder Katana have a combo skill! Once your Signature Move Gauge is full, use your Charged Thrust and follow up with the Signature Move for a "High Voltage" attack! Some of these Sword Skills will cause the sword to glow and release particles!

Ultimate Sword Skills: 5★ Swords each have one Ultimate Sword Skill. Once you have figured out how to empower the swrd, it will begin to shine and be covered in particles. When you're ready hit your Ability 2 key [Default is "E" on your Keyboard], and unleash a devastating attack!

WARNING: Zone 3's Danger Level has increased. Swords & Shields from this mod will be required in order to survive encounters with NPCs from Tiered: Swords. HP Pools are much higher, Elemental/Attribute Attacks can only be blocked by Swords & Shields from this mod. You need a 2 Star Shield at minimum to survive. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! 

In order to make Weapons/Shields from vanilla or other mods block attacks from my NPCs, they would need to have the following added to their Weapon_Sword_Primary_Guard_Wield.JSON:
