The Salt Flats

Mod Summary:

The Salt Flats adds an entirely new biome for you to explore! This mod was made in an attempt to replicate the salt flats biome from the Hytale Summer 2022 blogpost.

Explore an endlessly generating flat expanse, littered with tall red sandstone rocks and ravines cutting through the terrain. You can reach the salt flats through the ancient gateway by using the salt flats' fragment, crafted in the Arcanist's Workbench.

Features:

• New biomes:
  • The Salt Flats - An infinitely generating flat expanse filled with salt, sandstone, and clay
  • The Shattered Salt Flats - A salt flats variant with massive ravines cutting through the terrain
• New orbis fragment: The Salt Flats, used with an ancient gateway
• New blocks: Salty Bone Blocks, obtainable from fossils throughout the salt flats
• New block: White Mushroom Shelf, obtainable only in salt flat ravines
• Peachstone blocks obtainable in exploration mode (normally creative only)
