You can use a creative-mode-only melee heavy weapon to instakill practically any mob in the game. It has near-infinite durability, and allows you to use the signature attack any time you want, with no energy cost at all! So besides being able to get rid of any mob, you can also hop around like a pogo stick.
Installation:
Just download the ZIP file and throw it into your world's mods folder. You don't need to unpack the file, just the .zip already works.
