The Armor Stands

Updated for Hytale Update 7. Requires Hytale 0.7.0 or later, tested on 0.7.2. Update your server before installing and replace the old Armor Stand jar.

Added

• All 49 armor stand looks are back: the basic stand, five colors of it, the Classic stand, and seven face designs (Emoji, Evil Eyes, Glowing Eyes, Hollow, Target, Three Eyes, Wonky Eyes) in six versions each
• Turn any stand into any other look at the Builder's Workbench, for free
• The basic stand can be crafted again, at the Workbench under Tinkering, from 5 Sticks, 5 Iron Ingots and 10 Plant Fiber
• Opening and closing a stand plays a soft wooden sound
• Looking at a stand shows how to open it
• Spanish translation. Item names, descriptions and the stand's window title follow your language setting

Changed

• The figure holds perfectly still, and armor sits on the stand's body. A held weapon no longer puts it in a fighting stance
• Every look has its own name, and a broken stand drops itself, keeping its look
• A stand needs solid ground under it, like a chest. Removing that ground breaks the stand instead of leaving it floating
• The Static Armor Stand is made at the Builder's Workbench from any stand

Fixed

• Gauntlets sit on the stand's hands instead of hanging below them
• The figure no longer shows a health bar or damage numbers
• The off hand slot only accepts what a hand can hold there, such as a shield or a torch. A sword placed there used to stay invisible

Compatibility

• Stands placed with 1.4.0 now show the basic stand. Turn one back into the dark Classic look at the Builder's Workbench
