  • Added an on-screen temperature HUD showing a progress bar that fills from cold to hot. The bar sits at the middle when your temperature is neutral and shifts toward either end as you heat up or cool down. A status label below the bar updates to show your current severity level such as Cold, Freezing, Hot, or Scorching.
  • Removed text status updates when temperature changes. /Temperature command will still show temperature status/protection status.
  • Added live environment status indicators below the temperature bar. These update in real time to show what is currently affecting your temperature, such as Campfire, Lava, In Water, Snow / Ice, or Sheltered. Multiple conditions show at the same time if more than one applies.
  • Added screen visual effects when temperature gets dangerous. A cold visual effect appears on screen as you approach the cold damage threshold and a hot visual effect appears as you approach the heat damage threshold, giving you a visible warning before damage starts.
  • Fixed campfires overheating players in hot biomes at night. A campfire in a desert will now only push your temperature past the safe limit during the day. At night when the desert is already cold, the campfire will only warm you up to a safe level.
  • Raised wool armor cold protection from 2.0 to 2.5 per piece. Four pieces of full wool now provides enough protection to survive a glacier biome without taking damage. Standing next to snow or ice in a glacier will still feel cold but will no longer cause damage with full wool.
  • Added Lava as a named biome entry in the config alongside Volcano, both at temperature value 10.
