  • Added a full config file (temperature_config.json) to customize nearly every value in the mod. See the Config section below for the full list.
  • Armor now directly offsets the temperature you feel, rather than just slowing how fast it changes. Enough cold or heat protection will fully neutralize a biome's effect. Armor cannot overcorrect past neutral.
  • Hot biomes like deserts now flip to freezing cold at night. The desert is scorching during the day and dangerously cold after dark, just like a real desert climate. The swing scales with how hot the biome is.
  • Y coordinate now affects temperature. The higher you climb above sea level, the colder it gets. The deeper underground you go, the warmer it gets from geothermal heat.
  • Swimming in water now affects temperature based on your current environment. Hot biome water is refreshing but still warm. Cold biome water is dangerous and drops your temperature faster than standing in the biome alone. Desert water at night is extremely dangerous.
  • Being near snow or ice blocks will chill you, stacking on top of the biome temperature.
  • Damage now hits every 10 seconds instead of every second, but at a higher amount per hit. There is also a short grace period before the first hit, giving you a moment to react.
  • Temperature is fully disabled in Creative mode and resets to neutral immediately when switching to Creative.
