Supported Versions

SummonLib 1.1.0 — Changelog

New Features

  • Owner-Combat Priority Targeting: Summons now prefer to attack whoever their owner hits, or whoever hits their owner.
  • New WIP Summon Type: Worm: Added an early Work-in-Progress summon type: Worm, designed to behave similarly to Terraria’s Stardust Dragon (more updates soon).

Improvements

  • Internal Creature Filter: Added an internal filter for creatures — Hytale was incorrectly treating mice as hostile.
  • Better Hostile Detection (Still Limited by Hytale): Improved detection for creatures that can swap between neutral ↔ hostile (e.g., bear/spider-like behavior when they notice the player).
Note: This neutral-to-hostile transition still isn’t perfect due to limitations in Hytale’s current behavior/system.
  • More Intuitive Configuration: Configuration has been redesigned to be more intuitive.
⚠️ Very likely not backwards compatible (Sorry).

Compatibility / Stability Notes

  • Model summons: Working well and considered stable.
  • NPC summons: Still fairly unstable — now that key bugs are fixed and the Asset Editor configs are closer to the intended design, focus can shift to fully stabilizing NPC summons.

Documentation

  • Wiki Update Incoming: The wiki will be updated with new documentation for everything above within the next few hours.
