Sporebound Wilds

While walking through the green forests, you start noticing some weird things. Even though it is thriving of life, the forest is somewhat empty. No building, no structures, just a beautiful, living forest. Also, there are more mushrooms than commonly seen in those woods. Maybe those big sinkholes have something to do with it?

After wandering around for some time, you decide to enter one of the caves opened up by a sinkhole. Never have you seen something similar before. Gigantic, moisty caves, filled up with mushrooms. Going deeper into the caves, you notice something even more interesting. It seems, like there are remainings of an ancient civilization all around...

About the mod

At the moment, Sporebound Wilds is only a proof of concept WorldGen v2 mod, that adds a simple Sporebound Forest biome. It is solely focused on the conceptual contents, like natural caves, explorable pathways and impressive buildings.

"I found a chest! But why is it empty?" Currently, the mod has not fully found it's place in the storyline. Therefore it is not quite clear what loot would help the player the most.

"I am feeling somewhat lonely! Where are all my enemies?" It's the same problem as stated above. As it is not clear when the player is expected to enter the Sporebound Wilds, it is also quite unclear what equipment he is wearing.

How to try it out?

To explore the Sporebound Wilds, you can either craft a portal key using some gold, silver and mushrooms at the alchemists workbench, or just spawn a new instance with the /instance command.

Note: Portal key is not working on some devices. It seems like the player is sometimes teleported to the Sporebound Wilds and directly returned to the default world.
