I made this to be a user-friendly and complete experience. There is a map I created to play on, as well as some props to play as and hunt down using a custom hunter’s crossbow. However, I was not able to find a way to hide players name tags. So you will have to download a mod that can hide them. I will try and fix this as soon as I can.
Things you need to know:
To get started, you will need to craft an item that spawns the game hub building. It only requires 1 stick, and no crafting bench is needed.
In the hub, there are two “Loadout” totems. One for the prop team and one for the hunter team. There is a 10-second cooldown that both totems share, so once you use one, you will have to wait before using either again.
In either loadout, you are provided with a portal key that will take you to the map I created.
There are some issues that I am aware of but at least one of them will be fixed in the next Hytale update 5 when it releases.
1. Right now returning to your normal player model is verry finicky at the moment. Right clicking "Secondary" with the portal key should reset your player model but right now it only works rarely.
2. There is currently nothing to prevent props from just sitting still I would like to add some kind of movement detection of some kind but it is tricky with the current limitations I am not a coder so everything I do is through the asset editor and the like.
Hunters:
If you shoot a prop that is not a player, you will take damage. If you shoot a player, they will die in one shot, and you will be healed to full. Hunters do not take fall damage.
Props:
Scattered around the map are totems that give you a coin. When used, this coin will stun nearby hunters for 4 seconds. These totems have a 45-second cooldown, so use them wisely.
Also the fish Prop can breathe underwater but you have to have the fish Prop selected in your hot bar if you swap away from it you'll still be in fish form but you'll start drowning.
