Arcane Robes & Spells

This mod adds progressive magic robes and new spells.

Robes

To begin your journey into the arcane you're going to need a set of mage robes. You'll be able to find robes in the newly implemented Arcane Loom workbench, along with bolts of fabric required to craft each robe.

Spells

There are two ways for you to cast spells, the first way you cast spells is by using spell scrolls. Spell scrolls allow anyone no matter their magical apptitude to cast a basic spell, expending the scroll on use. Those skilled in the arts however, are able to cast spells a second way, by crafting spell scrolls into grimoires at the arcane workbench you will be able to cast an enhanced version of the spell that was on the scroll.

 Grimoire: Arcane

• Arcane Bolt: A single basic magic bolt
• Tri-Bolt: Three simultaneous magic bolts

Grimoire: Pestilent

• Poison Sting: Poison tipped needle
• Toxic Cloud: Needle that conjures poisonous fog

Grimoire: Accretion

• Ice Spike: Slowing icicle
• Binding Frost: A triple shot freezing icicle

Grimoire: Immolation

• Fireball: Single small explosive
• Fire Storm: Conjure a firestorm

Grimoire: Macabre

• Raise Knight: Summon up to 5 skeletons from nearby bone piles
• Raise Praetorian: Summon a praetorian guardian from a nearby bone pile

Spell Scrolls

Scrolls can either be scavenged from defeated foes or crafted at the Arcane Loom using Pure Essence and materials which correlate with each spells natural element. The basic mages can drop up to 5 scrolls at once, where as the higher tier mages are guaranteed to drop 5.

• Arcane Bolt scrolls are dropped by Skeleton Mages & Archmages
• Poison Sting scrolls are dropped by Desert Skeleton Mages & Archmages
• Ice Spike scrolls are dropped by Ice Skeleton Mages & Archmages
• Fireball scrolls are dropped by Incandescent Skeleton Mages & Burnt Wizards
• Raise Dead scrolls are dropped by Wraiths

Totems

• Healing Totem recipe now requires new Pure Essence
• Slowness Totem recipe now requires new Pure Essence
• New Mana Totem to regenerate mana in combat
