Siren's Commands started as a handful of shortcuts I got tired of living without. It is now 67 commands covering the things vanilla Hytale simply has no answer for — private messaging, teleport requests, homes, mail, and the moderation tools a server needs the first time two players fall out.
===--===--===--===--===--===--===--===--===--===--===--===--===--===--===--===--===
Every command here exists for one of two reasons: the engine has no equivalent at all, or the vanilla version is buried behind a staff permission and three levels of sub-command. Nothing is duplicated for the sake of it — where Hytale already does the job well, this plugin leaves it alone.
Homes, mail, nicknames, mutes and playtime all survive a restart. Messages and teleports work across worlds. Everything worth tuning lives in a config file that writes itself on first boot.
This plugin has no direct relation with my other plugin called Mermaids.
This plugin is in active development and many other commands will be added in the future.

Commands:
Type /scmds in game to browse these by group, or /scmds <group> to open one.
Talking to people
Hytale has no way for two players to speak privately. It has /say, which shouts at everyone. That is the whole of it.
- /msg, /tell, /w <player> <message> — Send a private message
- /reply, /r <message> — Answer without retyping their name
- /mail send <player> <message> — Write to someone who is offline
- /mail, /mail read, /mail clear — Read or bin your letters
- /ignore, /unignore <player> — Block one person, in chat and in messages
- /ignorelist — See who you are ignoring
- /msgtoggle — Turn private messages off entirely
- /socialspy — Watch every private message (staff)
Getting around
- /tpa, /tpahere <player> — Ask before you travel
- /tpaccept, /tpdeny, /tpcancel — Answer or withdraw a request
- /rtp, /wild — Drop somewhere random, and survivable
- /back — Return to where you died
- /top — Up to the surface
- /jump, /thru — Leap to what you are looking at, or step through it (staff)
- /tphere, /tpall — Pull one player, or everyone (staff)
- /tpworld <world> — Travel to another world's spawn (staff)
Homes
Vanilla gives you exactly one home, it is your respawn point, and you cannot move it.
- /sethome <name> — Save where you are standing
- /home <name> — Travel to one
- /homes, /home list — See what you have
- /delhome <name>, /home delete <name> — Get rid of one
How many homes a rank gets is a permission, not a config list — grant sirenscommands.homes.10 and that rank keeps ten.
Who is here
- /list, /players — Who is connected, and who is away
- /near <radius> — Who is close by, with distances
- /afk <reason> — Mark yourself away (or let the idle timer do it)
- /playtime, /seen, /firstjoin <player> — History the engine does not keep
- /whois <player> — Identity, position, group, ping and playtime in one card
- /nick <name>, /realname <nickname> — Go by another name, and find out who is behind one
- /staff — Which staff are on, and which are actually at their keyboard
- /mods — What is loaded here, with versions
Running a server
- /motd, /rules — Config-driven text pages, shown on join
- /kit <name>, /kit list — Kits with permissions and cooldowns
- /helpop <message>, /report <player> <reason> — Reach staff, rate limited
- /broadcast, /bc <message> — Announce with a server prefix (staff)
- /mute, /unmute <player> — Silence one player in text chat (staff)
- /mutechat, /slowchat <seconds> — Lock chat, or slow it down (staff)
- /lockdown — Close the doors to everyone but staff (admin)
Mutes, the chat lock and the lockdown all persist. A mute a player can clear by relogging is not a moderation tool.
World and upkeep
- /day, /night, /dawn, /midday, /dusk, /midnight — Set the time properly
- /sun, /rain, /storm — Set the weather (staff)
- /gmc, /gma — Change gamemode
- /trash — A container that eats whatever you leave in it
- /condense, /sortinv — Merge and alphabetize your storage
- /heal, /repair, /god, /clearinv — The usual staff toolkit (staff)
- /suicide, /die — Start over

Configuration:
A Config.json writes itself into the plugin's data folder on first boot with every setting at its default, so there is nothing to create by hand. Teleport request expiry and warmup, home limits, AFK timing and the optional idle kick, random-teleport radius and cooldown, your message of the day, your rules, and your kits all live there.
Weather assets in Hytale are zone-named — there is no generic "rain", only Zone1_Rain, Zone3_Rain and so on. So /sun, /rain and /storm point at configurable asset ids, defaulting to Zone1. A server built in another zone retargets them in the config rather than going without.

Permissions:
Commands follow their permission group out of the box. These extra nodes are the ones worth knowing about:
- sirenscommands.homes.N — Allows N homes (default 3)
- sirenscommands.staff — Receives /helpop and /report
- sirenscommands.nick.color — May use &a-style color codes in a nickname
- sirenscommands.chat.bypass — Speaks through a chat lock and slow mode
- sirenscommands.lockdown.bypass — Connects during a lockdown
- sirenscommands.ignore.exempt — Cannot be ignored
- sirenscommands.msg.bypass — Messages a player who has messages off
- sirenscommands.afk.exempt — Never idle-kicked
- sirenscommands.rtp.nocooldown — No /rtp cooldown

Installation:
Drop SirensCommands.jar into your server's /mods folder, or into your own appdata\Hytale\UserData\Mods</strong> folder for singleplayer. There is nothing else to set up.

This plugin is also how I learn to code for Hytale, for the bigger project I keep coming back to — my Mermaids plugin.

Support the Creator of Siren's Commands:
You can support me by using my creator code SIREN at checkout.
If you would like to support the work directly, my mods have a home of their own — xianxia.dev/store, the Treasure Pavilion. Supporter add-ons for Mermaids, Cultivation and my Endless Leveling races live there, by subscription or bought outright.
Siren's Commands itself is free, and stays free. Nothing in the Pavilion unlocks anything here — it simply pays for the time that goes into all of it.
