Technical Note - Water Movement Limitations
⚙ About Water-Only Movement in Hytale
In the current Hytale build, creating entities that move exclusively on water without also interacting with land physics is technically challenging.
Because of this, surfboards rely on adapted mount and movement systems to simulate water-based travel as closely as possible while remaining stable and playable.
This mod embraces those constraints to deliver the best possible experience within the engine’s current capabilities.
