Supported Versions

PingIt v1.7.0

New Features

  • /pingit list — Lists all your active pings with numbered entries, XYZ coordinates, distance, and cardinal direction (e.g., [1] Beacon @ (120, 64, -340) — NE 58m). Also shows pings from your focused player.
  • /pingit focus <#> — Focus the range HUD on a specific ping by its list number (from /pingit list). Focused pings are marked with * in the list.
  • /pingit focus auto — Return to automatic tracking (most recent ping within range).
  • /pingit tp <#> — Now checks your personal ping list first before falling back to the admin list.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed NPC beacon beam persistence — Entity-attached beam particles no longer loop forever on the client after the ping is cancelled. Beams now properly expire after their lifespan.
  • Fixed compass/map marker persistence — Ping icons on the compass and map now properly clear when pings are cancelled or replaced.
  • Fixed GreenOrbImpact render distance — Marker cancel particle effect now renders beyond 20m with per-viewer distance-scaled sizing.
  • Range HUD now defaults to your most recent ping instead of the closest by distance, which was inconsistent and confusing.
  • Entity names now display as friendly names — NPC pings show proper display names (e.g., "Skeleton Fighter") instead of internal IDs (e.g., "Skeleton_Figher").

Improvements

  • PingFurther SFX now plays for Marker pings — Marker pings now trigger the distance-check sound effect like other ping types.
  • Range HUD accommodates long entity names — Wider HUD layout prevents text clipping for entities with longer names.
  • Focus and teleport confirmation messages now display in the ping type's color (e.g., red for Danger, green for Beacon) instead of generic white.
  • Brightened command header color from dark blue-purple to a more readable light blue across all command outputs.
  • Adjusted PingRange HUD positioning for better screen alignment.
