Overloaded is a roguelike bullet-heaven, bullet hell minigame created within Hytale, Inspired by Vampire Survivors & Brotato. Start a new run, fight enemies, buy items, search chests and most importantly stay alive! Over 100 rounds to survive and 5 different modes to beat!

V3.0.0-update5 is designed to work with Update 5 of the game also known as 2026.04.23-3f4475f43

I recommend playing on Update 4 as future pre-releases may break features!

Features

I have created a massive README on the github page that include a lot of information about features, but I'll do a quick run down here as well!

You are given a remote to slow down time so you can sort out your inventory and read pet descriptions! You can delete items by throwing them outside your inventory!
You can open chests to find a random amount of coins, these chests spawn randomly and despawn quickly
Buy different items to increase statistics and gain special abilities to help you fight, some items don't work well together for example summoner pets and life steal items!

Modes Explained

In "Classic" mode, rounds last 45 seconds, bosses spawn and enemies don't get killed inbetween rounds! Time is slowed down when in the item shop!
in "Quick" mode, rounds last 25 seconds, there are no bosses and enemies don't get killed inbetween rounds! Time is slowed down when in the item shop!
in "Rounds" mode, rounds last 45 seconds, bosses spawn and enemies and friendly NPCs are wiped when a round ends! You also have unlimited time to check out the item shop!

Chaos mode

Rounds last 60 seconds and changes section theme after each moon
Every 5th round is a new boss moon with a new theme!
This mode has custom exclusive bosses that aren't in the other modes
The player also starts off with some gear such as an Acid Orb Pet, Ice Ball Pet, Kunai Pack and Mithril Battleaxe
NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ARACHNOPHOBIA MODE

Sandbox mode

Choose your own round length!
Choose your own starting gold, equipment and pets!
Play any sections you want and choose the order they are in!
Toggle chaos mode on and off!
No bosses!

Accessibility Settings

Arachnophobia mode: When turned on, spiders can't be spawned in rounds and the spider themed section is replaced with a wolf themed section titled "Wolf Pack", you can still find the Baby Spider item!
Double gold mode: When turned on, the player earns double gold for kills, this mode will help less combat skilled players have a fun experience!

Singleplayer & Multiplayer Explained

The first player to join a world or server, gets the round data componenet and they become Player One so they can pick the mode and the settings!
All players have different gold and kill stats and have different item shop choices per round!
The mini-game supports both singleplayer and multiplayer with friends, multiplayer isn't designed for big servers!

Build Tips

Summoner
- Buy pets that summon friendly NPCs to help out in battle!
- Avoid life steal items because it will weaken health regeneration and its harder to get kills with an army surrounding you!
- Summoner pets give a small amount of gold to all players when they kill an enemy so the summoner build can act as a support class in multiplayer!
Melee
- This class has many subclasses because of the amount of unique weapons within Hytale
- Items that boost signature energy regeneration are really useful as it will charge the weapon's special ability faster
- Life steal boosters are a must!
Ranged
- Collect different spears as these are an auto attack weapon.
- Collect spear head pets to improve your spear throwing capabilities!
- Health regeneration boosters are a must!
- Stamina is important!
Mage
- Collect special pets like the fireball pet, ice ball pet and acid orb pet!
- Meteor pets add 1 fireball to the fireball pet's attack!
- Collecting multiple of these pets increase the frequency of attacks!
