Messy chests? Sort your whole storage room with one button.
Organizer Core is a simple Hytale storage organizer and chest sorter for both single-player worlds and multiplayer servers. Put your random loot into one Deposit Chest, press F on the Organizer Core, and it automatically sorts everything into nearby chests.
No more opening every box to find one item. No more spending your playtime moving stacks by hand. Drop off your loot, press the Core, and get back to exploring.
What does it do?
- Sorts nearby chests into useful groups such as farming items, materials, food, tools, weapons, and more.
- Reorganizes chests that are already messy—not only new items.
- Uses one Deposit Chest as your easy drop-off box.
- Works only when you press the Core, so it does not constantly run in the background.
- Supports normal storage and compatible modded chests, barrels, and crates.
- Works in solo worlds and shared multiplayer bases.
How to use it
- Install Organizer Core for the world you want to play. For multiplayer, the server owner installs it on the server.
- Start your single-player world or restart the multiplayer server.
- Craft an Organizer Core at a Tier 2 or higher Tinkering Workbench.
- Place the Core near your storage room.
- Type
/storageorganizer deposit. - Look at the chest you want to use for new loot and press F.
- Put your unsorted items in that Deposit Chest.
- Press F on the Organizer Core.
That's it—your nearby storage is now organized. Keep throwing new loot into the Deposit Chest and press the Core whenever you want another sort.
Built to keep your items safe
Organizer Core checks your storage before it moves anything. If there is not enough room, a selected chest is open, or something changes during sorting, it safely stops instead of forcing the move.
It keeps item amounts, stack limits, durability, quality, and other item details intact. It also saves an undo point for the latest unchanged sort.
Helpful commands
/storageorganizer deposit— choose your Deposit Chest./storageorganizer cleardeposit— unlink the current Deposit Chest./storageorganizer sort— sort using the nearest Core./storageorganizer undo— undo the latest unchanged sort./storageorganizer guide— show where each group of items was placed./storageorganizer status— check the Core and its safety settings.
Most players only need to set up the Deposit Chest once. After that, just press F on the Core whenever your storage needs sorting.
Search area and performance
By default, the Core searches up to 28 blocks horizontally and 14 blocks vertically, with support for up to 128 containers. Single-player users and server owners can change this in mods/Cole_OrganizerCore/organizer.properties.
The mod runs only when activated. It does not continuously scan your base, helping it stay lightweight in both solo and multiplayer worlds.
Compatibility
- Made for Hytale versions
0.6.4through<0.7.0. - Works in single-player worlds and multiplayer servers.
- For multiplayer, install it on the server. Other players normally do not need a separate copy.
- Supports vanilla storage and compatible modded storage.
- For best results, disable other automatic chest-sorting mods in the same room.
