On most servers, players do not have access to gamemode switching, and the default O key functionality is effectively unused.
Okey repurposes this underutilized input and turns it into a universal action key for your server.
Same goes for the new Alt implementation, Alt is used for walking slowly, rarely used, but with our smart method it wil not interfere with walking - it will only be triggered when pressed while NOT moving at all.

Traditionally, servers rely on:

/menu or /hub commands
Chat spam and memorization of commands
Special items players must hold or right-click

These solutions are functional - but clunky.

Okey solves this at the input level.
It provides a modern, frictionless way for players to access server features instantly, using two, familiar keys and a subtle on-screen indicator.

1. Bind the O and Alt key to any command

- Run commands as the player (based on player's permissions)
- Or run commands as the server console (full permission access)

2. Placeholder support

- {player} – player name
- {uuid} – player UUID

Use them freely in commands.

3. Beautiful native-looking HUD

- Blends naturally into the game
- No immersion-breaking overlays
- Can be shown or hidden at any time (/okey show | /okey hide)

put the Okey.jar into your /mods folder.
Run the server once so it will generate multiple configuration files, within /mods/jox.works_Okey folder.
[V2.0] You will have 4 files - HUD.json to manage the hud. MiniMenu.json - basic menu you can configure (PLEASE USE ComMenu instead!) Okey.json to manage the O key functionality, and AltKey.json to manage the Alt's ones. All with built in comments to assist you and clarify everything.
Turn of the server, [V2.0] or do /okey reload

/okey hide - hides the GUI, remembers user's preference,
/okey show (or /okey unhide) - showing the GUI again.
[V2.0] /okey reload - reloading the configurations for everyone (admin)
