What's new

New

  • Conspiracy, a third game. A bluffing game for 2 to 6 players: each player hides two influence cards and holds coins, claims an action on their turn, and anyone can challenge or block it. Whoever loses a challenge reveals an influence; the last player with one wins. Six characters, nine actions (Income, Foreign Aid, Depose, Tax, Silence, Plunder, Exchange, Renew, Examine). Same keys as the other games; typed twins /cards claim, /cards target, /cards challenge, /cards block and /cards pass.
  • Cards on the table. Every player's two influences lie face down in front of their seat and flip face up when lost. Hidden cards never show their character to anyone, not even in the world. Swapped cards shiver the same way for every character. The court's deck lies in the middle, and the deal comes off its top.
  • Coins on the table. The treasury is a scatter of small mounds, and each player has a stack beside their cards. Coins fly between them for every gain, payment, return and plunder, in short hops of at most three coins.
  • Seats keep their distance. Cards sit further in from the players at the ends of the table, and coin stacks stand to the right of the cards.
  • A visual HUD. Actions are pictures, not sentences. The row is centred, with the characters you hold in the middle, the plain actions on the left and the bluffs on the right. Safe moves have a ring and a tick, Depose burns red, bluffs are washed with a danger seal, and moves you cannot make are greyed out and say what they need.
  • A clearer answer poster. A claim is one line (card, who acts, action and coins, target); a block shows the claim and the block joined by an arrow. Below, a face for each player who still has to answer. Nothing is cut, even with 16-character nicks.
  • Player portraits. Every name in the HUD has the player's portrait. A bot named after a real account shows that account's portrait, loaded before the deal. Avatar in games/conspiracy.json (None shows the initial only).
  • Choosing a target by sight. Look at the player and click. In the table camera, a page with a portrait of each player opens instead. Q, E and R always work too.
  • Bots for Conspiracy. They bluff, challenge and block with chance, deterministically. Once no human is left to answer, each bot answers half a second after the last human; while a human can still answer, they think as before.
  • Forced strike at 10 coins. A player starting a turn with 10 or more coins must Depose (7 coins, cannot be challenged or blocked). Any other action is refused with the reason, and if the clock runs out the server strikes for them. Bots always strike.
  • Idle players lose the seat. After three clock timeouts in a row with nothing done in between, the player leaves the table and their coins go back to the bank. Bots are never counted. AfkPasses changes the number; 0 turns it off.
  • Statistics for Conspiracy: claims, bluffs, challenges, blocks, coins earned and spent, plunders, silences, deposes, exchanges, examines, influences lost, eliminations and timeouts.

Fixes

  • The look-to-target sample is now cancelled when a table closes, when its world is removed and when the plugin stops; before, it could stay scheduled for a world that no longer existed.
  • Clicking on a player who is already out no longer picks another player as the target.
  • The console line at the end of a match now names the winner in games without teams (UNO, Conspiracy) and gives the reason in words, instead of always saying "the second team".
  • A player who comes back to the table while a target is being asked is looked at again.

Configuration

  • config/games/conspiracy.json: TurnSeconds (30), ReactSeconds (15), RejoinSeconds (60), AfkPasses (3) and Avatar.
