The Hytale crossbow's string never moves. Drawstring draws it back when a bolt is loaded and snaps it forward when you fire the last one. Iron and Ancient Steel, no config, no code on the tick, free.

Drawstring v1.0.1 should run on Hytale 0.7.0 pre1. If you have any issues, please leave a comment!
Load a vanilla crossbow. Watch the string. It does nothing. Six bolts go in and the string sits exactly as slack as it did empty, and the bolt you just seated is nowhere on the model.
Drawstring fixes that. While there is at least one bolt in the weapon, the crossbow in your hands shows the string hauled back over the nut, the limbs flexed, and a bolt lying in the groove. Shoot the last one and the string springs forward. Reload, and it draws back again.
