1. Definitions

   "Software" means the NameplateBuilder source code, compiled binaries,
   documentation, assets, and any associated files in this repository.

   "Author" means Frotty27, the original creator and copyright holder.

   "You" means any person or entity accessing the Software.

   "Contribution" means any code, documentation, or other material
   submitted to this repository by any person other than the Author
   (e.g. via pull request, patch, or issue).

2. Permitted Uses

   You MAY:
   a. View, read, and study the source code for personal or educational
      purposes.
   b. Use the compiled Software on servers and clients as intended by
      the Author (i.e. as a Hytale mod).
   c. Submit Contributions to this repository via pull requests or other
      means approved by the Author.
   d. Create mods that depend on the NameplateBuilder API at runtime,
      provided they do not embed, bundle, or redistribute the Software
      itself.
   e. Fork this repository on hosting platforms solely for the purpose
      of preparing Contributions to submit back to this repository.

3. Restrictions

   You MAY NOT:
   a. Redistribute, publish, or share modified or unmodified copies of
      the Software without prior written permission from the Author.
   b. Use the Software, or substantial portions of it, as the basis for
      a competing or derivative product.
   c. Sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Software or any
      derivative work.
   d. Remove, alter, or obscure this license notice, the Author's name,
      or any copyright notices.
   e. Claim authorship of the Software or misrepresent its origin.

4. Contributions

   By submitting a Contribution, you:
   a. Grant the Author a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable
      license to use, modify, incorporate, sublicense, and distribute
      your Contribution as part of the Software under any license the
      Author chooses.
   b. Confirm that you have the legal right to grant the above license
      and that your Contribution does not infringe any third-party
      rights.
   c. Understand that the Author is under no obligation to accept,
      merge, or use your Contribution.

5. No Warranty

   THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND,
   EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF
   MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND
   NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY
   CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT,
   TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE
   SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

6. Termination

   This license is automatically terminated if you violate any of the
   above terms. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the
   Software in your possession.

7. Governing Terms

   The Author reserves the right to change the license for future
   versions of the Software. Previously published versions remain under
   the license they were released with.
