Mystic Lands
Using the Mystic Lands portal, you’ll find a landscape where rivers cut through hills and cedar trees grow along elevated terrain, now expanded with multiple biomes and better world structure.
• Worldgen V2: focused on custom terrain generation across three biomes (bamboo forests, hills, and mountain regions), with improved stone pillars, arches, rivers, and elevation differences.
• Craftable Portal: access the instance through a craftable Mystic Lands portal using a standard crafting bench
• Spawn System: the spawn temple now allows players to travel to and from the instance using the exit portal
• Points of Interest: temples, houses, fortresses and shrines spawn throughout the world as natural landmarks using custom prefab generation, and can incldue enemies!
• Lit Pathways: paths are lined with prefabs built from existing lantern assets, guiding traversal and occasionally connecting points of interest across the world
• Caves: underground cave systems generate with ores, foliage, and integrated encounters, expanding exploration beneath the surface
• Creatures: Qirins can be encountered as part of the natural ecosystem!
• Atmosphere: custom weather systems including clouds, fog, and storm states enhance environmental variation
• Progression: caves and encounters scale around cobalt-level progression, including ore distribution such as adamantite in mountain regions
• Additions: includes 7 new house variations, 6 camphor tree variants, additional cedar variations, a new fortress structure, a bamboo biome expansion with fortress spawns, a massive mountain arch with glowing crystal formations, and new lantern-based path prefabs built using existing lantern assets. Enhanced atmosphere and biome edges are fixed!
• Note: Temples spawn an entrance to a lower level that has enemies, but is still WIP
