ModernStorage 1.0.13 Changelog
PLEASE BACKUP YOUR WORLD BEFORE UPDATING!
Major crafting terminal update:
- Redesigned the Crafting Terminal UI to reduce clutter.
- Merged bench management into the Crafting tab.
- Added a left-side workbench selector panel.
- Added an “All Recipes” option to browse recipes from every detected workbench.
- Added a right-side bench upgrade panel with tier info, requirements, and upgrade controls.
- Added craftable/all recipe filtering.
- Added green/red recipe tinting for craftable vs missing-material recipes.
- Improved recipe search so it searches across all detected workbenches.
- Fixed search losing focus after typing.
- Fixed recipe slots appearing in weird extra rows while searching.
- Recipe and ingredient names now use game translations where available.
Crafting behavior:
- Crafting Terminal now counts items in the player inventory as available crafting materials.
- Crafting consumes storage first, then the player inventory if needed.
- Crafted outputs still go into the player inventory.
- Reduced crafting UI refresh frequency to be more server friendly.
- Improved handling for large recipe lists to avoid CustomUI crashes.
Workbench upgrades:
- Fixed upgrade tier display showing the wrong next tier.
- Fixed upgrade material names to use translated item/resource names.
- Removed the old hard 12-workbench display limit.
- Storage Access bench detection now checks vertical range too, not only the same Y level.
- Fixed max-tier detection for benches with more than 4 upgrade tiers.
Admin/creative quality of life:
- Players in Creative mode with modernstorage.admin or modernstorage.security.bypass are treated as having infinite crafting/upgrade materials.
- This is checked per player server-side, so normal players using the same terminal do not get free crafting.
Cable and bus fixes:
- Reworked bus placement/rotation to use Hytale rotation data instead of separate vertical block IDs.
- Removed vertical bus/cable block variants and models.
- Fixed storage/import/export bus side/back direction handling.
- Improved cable connection ID checks to avoid false positives.
Stability and maintenance:
- Fixed world tracking cleanup in the IO service to reduce reload leaks.
- Added build packaging updates for 1.0.13.
Release note:
- Worlds with already-placed old vertical bus/cable block IDs may need those blocks replaced, because the vertical variants were removed in favor of rotation-based placement.
